Antiques Of Distinction Will Shine At The Winter Morristown Armory Antiques Show On Feb. 28 And March 1

Over 100 prominent antiques dealers will fill the Morristown Armory on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 28 and March 1, with everything from the finest antique furniture to fine art, collectibles, and much more. Featuring collections and individual pieces from around the world, this two-day event will offer everyone, from the serious collector to interior designers, as well as the casual devotee of the finer things in life, a world of historic art and design in furnishings and decorative objects.
Among the new exhibitors who will be featured are Knollwood Antiques LLC of Thorndike, Mass., and Continental Antique Furniture from Sarasota, Fla. Recently featured in New England Monthly Magazine, Knollwood Antiques offers highly select antique furniture spanning the mid-19th through the mid-20th century from Europe, as well as Asian and American pieces, plus a wide selection of lighting and objects of décor.
The Morristown Armory Antiques Show is a decorator's dream weekend. In one location, the finest in furniture will be presented by Roger Winter, Zane Moss, Essex Antiquarians, White Orchid, and Arise Bazaar, to name just a few.
Since 1985, owners of Regence Holding Antiques, Michael Amontree and Leslie Allen, have been traveling to Europe to be able to offer antiques, bronzes, and fine small accessories for those with a discerning eye.
In decorative objects, including porcelain, glass, sterling, and jewelry, showgoers will love the collections presented by Fair Trade Antiques, Gardner Burke, Kimerling Antiques, and Memories Antiques.
Turning to those specializing in Asian art and antiques will be Marvin Baer, Mah Jongg, and JSD Antiques.
Highlighting the fine art to be offered will be Art & Antiques Gallery, Patrick Hastings, and Jaffe & Thurston, and in 20th-century fine art will be William Jeffrey Gallery and Framont. Rounding out this category with fine photography and prints will be Sabina A. Wood Antiques from Northeast Harbor, Maine.
This special two-day event will also offer dealers featuring the finest antique and estate jewelry, ephemera, rugs, antiquarian items, and so much more.
In addition, there will be onsite glass restoration by Wade Nulton, pottery and porcelain restoration by Louis Pirrello, and an onsite verbal appraisal service for just $5 per item by White Orchid Appraisals. Fine food will be provided by The Randolph Diner.
