Results From Gateway's Model Train, Toy, And Railroadiana Auction

Here are a few of the top-selling items from the model train, toy, and railroadiana auction held at Gateway Gallery Auction in Chambersburg, Pa. on March 19.
A collectible PRR brass locomotive bell from Conrail sold for $2,000 and a Handlan C&O Railway switch lamp/targets with two red and two blue lenses went for $270. Some postwar Lionel locomotives sold, including a 2360 Tuscan single stripe PRR GG-1 (two insulators are missing) OB for $470. A 2541 Alexander Hamilton observation, 2542 Betsy Ross vista dome, 2543 Wm Penn pullman, 2544 Molly Pitcher pullman passenger car set, with tattered boxes, sold together for $400.
A Dietz No. 6 New York Central lantern with embossed New York Central blue globe sold for $280. A railroad signal lamp and lantern co. LVRR (Lehigh Valley) Railroad lantern with embossed Kopp LVRR red globe brought $230.
An interesting lot consisting of a 1964 PRR steam sounds record "audio documentary to steam," a 1966 Reading Railroad map, (two) railroad crossing gate warning lights with arms, and a Lashmar signal light with red/green reflectors sold for $280.
