Unreserved Variety Auction Slated For Aug. 27 At Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates

Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates’ next variety auction will contain a diversity of material and will include everything from rare doorstops and banks to vintage cameras and related equipment -- American historical items and political memorabilia to vintage baseball and football cards, American and European art pottery to sterling silver flatware and hollowware, plus much more. The unreserved sale will be held on Saturday, Aug. 27.
Consignments include selections from The Strong, Rochester, N.Y., sold to benefit the museum’s collections fund; property from the private collection of Audrey “Dolly” and the late William “Billy” Journell, Leesburg, Va.; property from the private collection of William Feltner, Winchester, Va.; the collection of Robert and Patsy Hassert, Strasburg, Va.; property from an Ohio estate collection, the Elizabeth S. Loker estate, Royal Oak, Md., plus others. The complete catalogue will be posted on the firm’s website, Live Auctioneers, and Invaluable.
Public preview will be available Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Aug. 24, 25, and 26, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on the day of auction from 8 a.m. until the last lot is sold.
