On Wednesday, May 24, at 10 a.m., Embassy Auctions International will have an estate sale of many outstanding antiques at its showroom, located at 5336 Mine Road, Kinzers, Pa. The single-owner collection includes an assortment of period Victorian-era furniture and accessories.
Quality furnishings such as center tables, commodes, side tables with ormolu mounts, tables adorned with marquetry, and marble top tables will all be sold. A Louis XV-style vitrine made of tulipwood and satinwood, pole screens, mahogany china closets, sideboards, multiple button tufted Victorian parlor settees and side chairs in the Belter manner, and a six-foot tall Cheval mirror with goose-head supports will also be on offer. Quality collections including fine paintings, needlework samplers, American cut glass, Dresden figurines, alabaster and marble pedestals, and sterling and silver-plate hollowware and utensils will round out the full sale.
