Ward Brothers Goose Decoy Sells For $6,160 At Allen & Marshall

Allen & Marshall Auctioneers and Appraisers of Parsonsburg, Md., held a diverse sale on June 2, and the following are several of the results. A Ward Brothers Canada Goose decoy from 1936 brought $6,160. A 98-piece set of Mottahedeh china sold for $3,300, and a large 12-foot Civil war-era bar with mirror realized $2,860. An eastern shore yellow pine cabinet sold for $1,100; a pair of Rose Medallion lamps, $1,210; and a Ruddy Duck decoy by Cigar Daisey sold for $1,430.
