On Sunday, May 14, the ACME Screening Room in Lambertville, N.J., will host the premier of a new documentary, "Collecting Design: Paul Evans." The film, sponsored by Rago Auctions and produced by Daniella Ohad in collaboration with the New York School of Interior Design, explores the life and career of Delaware Valley modernist Paul Evans.
The screening will be preceded by a cocktail reception at Rago from 5 to 6 p.m. The film will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Dorsey Reading, Evan’s former assistant and shop steward, will be on hand to answer questions and provide insights. Following the screening will be a fundraising dinner at a local art collector's home from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
