Summer is a time full of festivities, and the Grist Mill Antiques Center in Pemberton, N.J., is celebrating America. Its showcase has a thoughtfully curated selection of Americana and numerous patriotic memorabilia for both collectors and those who just wish to honor the nation’s history.
The store’s selection begins with flags and flag emblems depicted on posters, jewelry, postcards, samplers, and home décor. There are Liberty Bell and Statue of Liberty replicas, eagle figurines, election buttons, military collectibles, and national park and museum souvenirs. To add a patriotic flair to any summer celebration, check out the Liberty Blue and Ruby Red glassware, vintage pie plates and red, white and blue tableware featured in the display. The multi-dealer shop is bursting with American pride, and its friendly and helpful dealers will be more than happy to assist in finding that special patriotic keepsake or decoration.
Also, on the last Wednesday of each month, the store holds a scavenger hunt with a prize awarded to the person who finds the most items on the list. Lists are given out at 5 p.m., and light refreshments are served.
