Mountainhome United Methodist Church To Host Annual Antiques Show On July 21 And 22

This year’s annual Antiques Show and Sale at The Mountainhome United Methodist Church will take place on Friday and Saturday, July 21 and 22. A new feature to the annual event will be appraisals by licensed appraiser Maggie Winchester of Winchester Auctioneers on the first day of the show starting at 11 a.m. The cost will be $5 per item (limit of four items).
This will be the church’s 59th show, and more than 20 antique dealers will be participating. Show hours will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. A donation of $4 is the cost of admission, $3 with this press release or an ad. All proceeds will benefit the church.
The long-running show is popular event for local antique seekers looking for that special treasure. An array of quality material will be available, such as jewelry, furniture, old tools, primitives, fraktur, pottery, mid-century items, and more.
The coffee shop will offer homemade soups, pies, snacks, and beverages during the show.
An ice cream social and band concert will take place in the park adjacent to the church following the show on Friday at 7 p.m. The Trinity Centennial Band will perform music from Broadway shows, patriotic marches, and various classics.
The Mountainhome United Methodist Church is located in the heart of the Poconos at 6680 Route 191 in Mountainhome, Pa.
