Allyson Constant Babcock Will Be New Appraiser And Sales Associate
There is an organic demand for appraisal services from attorneys to individuals. Babcocks product expertise, auction industry experience and appraisal certifications not only satisfy our customers expectations, but also the geographical expansion goals of the company, states CEO and owner Sherry Russell.
Babcock grew up in Orient, N.Y., the easternmost town of Long Islands North Fork. Her father, Douglas Constant, was an antiques dealer, collector and appraiser for over 40 years. Babcock holds a double bachelors degree from Brown University in American Civilization (Material Culture) and Organizational Behavior & Management. She also obtained a certificate in Appraisal Studies by completing the Appraisal Institute of Americas CASP program (Comprehensive Appraisal Studies Program). Babcock is an associate member of the Appraisers Association of America. She is currently applying to become an accredited member. Her appraisals conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
Prior to venturing into the business of appraising, Babcock worked for Alderfers learning the day-to-day operations serving as lead cataloguer for its quarterly fine and decorative arts auctions. Babcock resides on the western mainline in Malvern with her husband and two sons. They enjoy spending summer weekends at their home on the Eastern Shore of Maryland on the Sassafras River.
