February 21, 2020

The Grist Mill Antiques Center in Pemberton, N.J., is celebrating the elegance and style of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras. A large, sleek sculpture of a woman is surrounded by ethereal Cambridge Crown Tuscan compotes and Bayel stemware, and Iscart works of art, greyhound bookends, bronze nudes and decorative keepsakes bring to life this romantic, creative time. A large assortment of material is available in the special sales display.
Stiffel brass lamps with original shades, a Tiffany Favrile pastel turquoise and opalescent compote, a Tiffany Furnaces Favrile bronze trumpet vase, an Arts and Crafts pipe stand and a mid-century sculpture of a sailfish by Kinder Harris of Stuttgart are all in-house and on sale. A collection of cut crystal rocks glasses have been added to the newly completed barware booth. Coming soon will be a selection of J. Chein tin litho toys. Contact the shop to be put on the wish list for certain collectables.
In addition to a shop discount, each week the Grist Mill has a 25-percent off sale on a selected theme. A scavenger hunt is held on the last Wednesday of every month from 5 to 8 p.m. Refreshments are served, and the winner receives a $25 gift certificate good at the Grist Mill or sister shop, Haddon Heights Antiques Center.
