Donegal Society To Host Dr. Larry Chottiner At Annual Meeting On June 13

The Rev. Dr. Larry Chottiner will speak at the annual meeting of the Donegal Society, an organization dedicated to preserving the history of Lancaster County’s Scots-Irish settlers.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday afternoon, June 13, followed by a dinner at Donegal Presbyterian Church outside of Mount Joy, Pa. Registration is at 2:30 p.m. Chottiner will be giving a talk titled “It Matters: Discerning the Times,” a look at history’s impact on our present day world and and how it impacts the future. Chottiner was senior minister of the Highland Presbyterian Church in Lancaster and served many other congregations over the years. He is retired and a member of Donegal Presbytery.
This program will also include a soloist and a bagpiper entertaining attendees on the beautiful grounds of the Donegal Presbyterian Church.
