Fall Morristown Armory Antiques Show Scheduled

October 7, 2015

The fall edition of the Morristown Armory Antiques Show will present fine art and design from the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries showcased by 100 prominent antiques dealers. Set up in room-setting style, this well-curated event will offer collectors, dealers, and interior designers inspiring ideas in utilizing antiques in contemporary environments, creating the richness of eras past. Shoppers can find that touch of history that completes a room or the finishing touch of the perfect piece of vintage jewelry to perfectly accent an outfit.
An exciting new addition to this fall show will be Rita Ford Music Boxes of New York City. Since 1947, they specialized in the sale and restoration of fine music boxes. Since 1984, Gerald Wright has been the master restorer and is renowned for his knowledge and technique in restoration. Rita Ford Music Boxes were recently advised for two episodes of the TV series “The Blacklist.” They also provided a music box featured on the set.
Also new to the show will be Lao Design of New York City. Hai Ngeun Mai Kham is the creator of stunning Laotian-inspired clothing fashioned from the finest vintage silks and textiles for both men and women.
Among the dealers that will be presenting fine antique furniture will be Roger D. Winter Ltd., who is known for high quality English 19th-century furniture. Knollwood Antiques LLC will offer highly select antique furniture from Europe, America and Asia spanning the mid-19th through 20th century, as well as an impressive selection of lighting and décor. Also of note for furniture dealers will be Zane Moss and White Orchid.
In decorative objects, including porcelain, glass, sterling, and jewelry, some of the must-see collections will be presented by Brentiques, Gardner Burke, and Bernie Krauss.
Turning to those specializing in Asian art and antiques will be Marvin Baer, JSD, and Mah Jongg and in Oriental rugs, Fardin's will be offering exceptional examples.
In fine art, Old Masters to contemporary works can be found at the booths of the William Jeffrey Gallery, The Art and Antique Gallery and Patrick Hastings.
And for the finest in personal bling will be the stunning estate and signed jewelry from Brad Reh and Lorraine Wambold.
This is merely a glimpse into the richness to be discovered at the Morristown Armory Antiques Show.
