Flying Pig Auctions is fresh off the heels of its successful premier auction and is pleased to offer an unreserved Western Massachusetts estate as the nucleus of its next sale.
This auction will be an online-only sale held through Live Auctioneers. The items will be on display for preview at the Flying Pig Antiques Shop during shop hours from Friday, June 14, through Monday, June 17, and also Friday, June 21, through Monday, June 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The estate is from two retired school teachers inspired by “The Age of Elegance.” They collected and decorated their house with Tiffany and Pairpoint lamps, magnificent chandeliers and other antique lighting, fine china, art glass, sterling silver, antique musical instruments, Victorian-era furniture, and oriental rugs.
This 50-year collection will be offered at no reserve on Monday, June 24.
To complement the auction will be material from fine collections from New England, New York, and the Midwest, including an assortment of quality fine art; weathervanes; primitive and country painted items such as signs, gameboards, and treen; samplers; musical instruments; jewelry; vintage slot machines; and much more.
