Fun Fall At The Grist Mill

October 12, 2018

As the weather begins to turn chilly and the crisp autumn breezes and variegated crunchy leaves remind many that the summer has come to an end, many begin to look forward to all the fun fall festivities that await. Whether it’s getting ready to tailgate for the Eagles or spending a Friday night at the local high school’s football game, exploring area antiques fairs and flea markets, picking pumpkins and apples, enjoying hayrides, or decking out homes for trick-or-treaters, this time of year always provides many exciting opportunities to get out and enjoy the cooler days and nights.
Whatever adventures await this fall, the Grist Mill Antiques Center in Pemberton, N.J., invites shoppers to stop in and stock up on fall décor and collectibles. There is football memorabilia, vintage Halloween decorations, and autumn-inspired home décor material. The quality multi-dealer shop is full of all things that will brighten decor as the days grow shorter.
The Grist Mill invites readers to its semiannual flea market on Sunday, Oct. 21, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This annual show is always a great opportunity to find treasures, as many dealers from both the Grist Mill and its sister store, Haddon Heights Antiques Center, participate. Limited outside vendors are welcome. To learn more, contact Barbara Lind at 609-726-1588 or theplace@gristmillantiques.com.
Also, the store will be hosting its monthly scavenger hunt on Wednesday, Oct. 24, with a prize being awarded to the person who finds the most items. Lists are given out at 5 p.m., and light refreshments will be served.
This multi-dealer shop is located at 127 Hanover St. (Route 616) in Pemberton, N.J., and is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours until 8 p.m. on Wednesdays. To find out what’s going on, log onto www.gristmillantiques.com to find out about other upcoming events.
