Historic Burlington Antiques And Art Emporium To Host Sip And Shop Event And Live Auction

November 8, 2019

The Historic Burlington Antiques and Art Emporium’s Fall Antique Show was a great success. The weather was beautiful, the parking lot was filled with dealers, and the customers came to buy. Inside the Emporium, dealers assisted customers, while conversing about antiques and collectibles.
Giving evaluations, auctioneer Chris Doerner and his wife, Elaine, of 21st Century Antiques, raised over $100 for the Burlington City High School Performing Arts Program. The Emporium’s next Antique Show will take place in May 2020, the date to be determined.
The next big event at the Emporium will be a wine and cheese night, or “Sip and Shop,” from 3 to 7 p.m., with a live auction on Facebook from 6 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 21. Shoppers are welcome to watch online or visit the Emporium to Sip, Shop and Bid. A preview will start Friday, Nov. 15, and all day at the Emporium on Thursday, Nov. 21. Approximately 100 items will go on the block to the highest bidder.
Kick off the holiday season at the Emporium. The Emporium display case will have Halloween collectibles until Tuesday, Nov. 12. On Wednesday, Nov. 13, the Emporium dealers will fill the display case with Christmas items to enhance any tree or festive table.
The Emporium is located at 424 High St., Burlington City, N.J. They are open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and until 7 p.m. on Thursdays. The Emporium is a 14,000-square-foot building filled with antiques from the 1800s to the collectibles of today. The coffee pot is always on, with free snacks to energize shopping.
