Among the over 660 lots that were sold were 18th- and 19th-century Eastern Shore raised panel furniture; fine art; decoys and sporting art; books; firearms; silver; and tools, to name a few categories. The furniture was a strength. An important 18th-century Eastern Shore of Virginia pine raised panel two-door cupboard/clothes press, ca. 1760, Accomack County, Va., featured in several publications, sold for $14,732. All prices reported include a 22-percent buyers premium.
An early 19th-century Eastern Shore of Virginia pine raised panel four-door wall cupboard with original bracket feet, also featured in several antique publications, sold for $10,160. There was a variety of 18th-century English and French furniture and more period American furniture.
