Witman Sells Aaron Zook Interior Scene Diorama For $14,520

Witman Auctioneers Inc., of Manheim, Pa., conducted an auction Jan. 19 at Enck’s Banquet Center in Manheim, selling a variety of items. A large interior scene Aaron Zook 3-D diorama painting/sculpture titled “Monday Washing” sold for $14,520; a smaller circular Aaron Zook scene with wrens in an octangular frame realized $2,310; and a large winter scene painting/sculpture depicting a covered bridge by Aaron’s twin brother, Abner, sold for $9,350.
A small Hattie K. Brunner watercolor of a winter public sale dated 1958 brought $2,530. A sterling silver Reed & Barton flatware set sold for $1,540; a Regina music disc player, $1,980; and a DeMuth stoneware snuff jar sold for $470.
