Witman Sells More Zook And Brunner Artwork
A medium size Abner Zook three-dimensional diorama Hay Making Time brought $9,680, and a small size Aaron Zook circular diorama depicting wrens went for $1,980.
Two original Hattie Brunner watercolors sold. One was a winter scene with a pond and horse-drawn sleigh in foreground selling for $3,960, and the second was a winter scene with a covered bridge, $1,870.
A sterling flatware set sold for $1,265; a fox hunt tea set, $310; a childs wooden wagon, $265; a large farm table, $330; a pewter cupboard, $440; and a high two-part paint-decorated cupboard went for $525. A Ned Foltz redware jar with eagle sold for $630, and a Foltz redware apple sold for $230.
