Special Red, White, And Blue Patriotic Memorabilia On Display At The Grist Mill Antiques Center During The Month Of July

July 7, 2014

On July 4, 1776, our independence was declared by 56 very brave and resolute men who represented 13 separate British colonies, deciding that self-governance was the right track for this land. Since that time, Americans have remained fiercely independent, each charting and designing their own course.
The Grist Mill Antiques Center in Pemberton, N.J., feels especially proud of the founding fathers, in part because this region and its’ forbearers were integral to the Revolutionary War effort. In honor of the country’s founders, the Grist Mill is showcasing red, white, and blue patriotic memorabilia in a special display throughout the month of July.
When the heat kicks in, shopgoers can come in and cool down at the Grist Mill. They have a wide-ranging selection of red, white, blue and patriotic keepsakes. Shopgoers can find ruby red, liberty blue, or milk glass items; flags; bunting; Americana; military collectibles; or even red, white and blue jewelry. The store is are fully stocked and staff is happy to help find exactly what the customer is searching for.
Don't forget that on the last Wednesday of each month the Grist Mill hosts a Scavenger Hunt. Light refreshments are served and lists are given out at 5:00 p.m. The person who finds the most items in the store will win a $25 gift certificate! Also, mark your calendars for Sunday, October 19, when the Grist Mill Antiques Center will hold its annual Fall Flea Market. Contact Barbara Lind at 609-726-1588 for more information.
