57th Delaware Antiques Show Goes Virtual
Acclaimed Show Expands Access, More Shopping Days Online, And Special Programs From Nov. 7 To 14

For almost 60 years, the Delaware Antiques Show has been one of the most acclaimed antiques shows in the country. This year it goes online at www.incollect.com/DEshow with a week of safe, virtual shopping and related activities on demand from Nov. 7 to 14, sponsored by Wilmington Trust and M&T. For the eight days of the Delaware Antiques Show, collectors and enthusiasts have free access to the storefronts of nearly 50 dealers on the InCollect online shopping platform. A special page allows collectors to view the inventory from every dealer in the show, then filter by category, style, dealer name, or price range. Offerings include art, antiques, and design items from the best of American antiques and decorative arts. Browsers can follow a favorite dealer, save a preferred object, create a board of favorites, share an object on social media platforms, and more. Shoppers purchase directly from the dealer. An exclusive Early Shopping Day on Friday, Nov. 6, gives first access to the Delaware Antiques Show inventory on InCollect. In addition to the great shopping, a full schedule of virtual lectures by the expert curators from Winterthur is available on demand for the duration of the show. The lectures include keynote speakers Katie Ridder, interior designer, and architect Peter Pennoyer. Access is free from Saturday, Nov. 7, to Saturday, Nov. 14. The special early shopping day, Friday, Nov. 6, is $100. The show is available at www.Incollect.com/DEshow, sponsored by M&T Bank. Virtual lectures on demand, keynote lecture and curators lecture package, are $30 ($20 for Winterthur members). McGraw Director of Collections and Senior Curator of Textiles, Tales on Textiles; Leslie B. Grigsby, Senior Curator of Ceramics and Glass, Your Beverage of Choice: Wine-Related Equipage at Winterthur; Dr. Stphanie Delamaire, associate curator, Fine Arts, Who owns Washington? Gilbert Stuart and the Battle for Artistic Property in the Early Republic; Ann K. Free Winterthur Lectures Winterthur Program in American Material Culture Presents Young Scholars Lecture. These lectures highlight the research of Lois F. McNeil Fellows from the Winterthur Program in American Material Culture, a joint program with the University of Delaware. Distinguished graduates hold positions in museums, universities, antiques and auction houses, libraries, historical societies, and libraries around the world. Sponsored by the Decorative Arts Trust.
