Scott Antique Markets To Kick Off Ohio Season On April 28 To 30

Washington Court House Show Will Feature Hundreds Of Exhibitors At Fayette County Fairgrounds

April 20, 2017

The Fayette County Fairgrounds will host Don Scott’s newest edition of America’s favorite treasure hunt - the Scott Antique Market at Washington Court House. There will be four shows this spring and summer. Begun in 2016, Scott Antique Market at Washington Court House, in Ohio, will showcase hundreds of indoor and outdoor exhibitors densely packed into the county fairground’s buildings and lawns. There will be free parking and food services available.
“We are building this venue for an old-fashioned shopping experience, a day in the fairgrounds with great antiques and collectibles, quality food, free parking, and easy access from major population centers. Everything for a great day of fun,” said Scott.
Shoppers can expect fresh supplies of antiques, art, and collectibles for this first show of the season, as many of the dealers will have been gathering their inventories over the winter months for this market. Look for antique home furnishings in a country flare arriving from the Midwest, industrial repurposed décor from Ohio and Michigan and great textiles from Pennsylvania dealers. Fine ceramics are a hallmark of this show as well, from many eras and styles.
The 2017 dates of the show will be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 28, 29, and 30; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, June 23, 24, and 25; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Aug. 25, 26, and 27; and, finally, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Sept. 29, 30, and Oct. 1.
The hours will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The Fayette County Fairgrounds are located roughly halfway between Cincinnati and Columbus in southeastern Ohio, easily accessible from U.S. Route 35. There will be special considerations for first-time exhibiting dealers. For details, call 740-569-2800.
