Katie’s Place of Shippensburg Inc. will be sponsoring an “Antiques Roadshow” style fundraiser on Saturday, April 1. The event, titled “Antiques Show and Sell,” will be held at The Beistle Company Banquet Room, 1 Beistle Plaza, Shippensburg, Pa., from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Almost everyone has an antique or collectible at home they wish they knew more about. How old is it? Where is it from? What is it worth? Appraisers will be on hand to answer those questions. In addition to the appraisals, participants will have the opportunity to sell their antiques at an auction also being held that day.
