Embassy Auctions International To Hold Special Sale

Embassy Auctions International of Kinzers, Pa., will hold a special antiques and art auction on Wednesday, Sept. 8, beginning at 10 a.m. Online bidding will be faciliated through Live Auctioneers. A diverse group of material will include fine artworks, bronzes, art glass, porcelains, tin litho toys, and so much more. Even a Keith Haring signed skateboard and 1928 bottle of Chateau Lafite-Rothschild will be sold.
Among the artwork selections are an oil-on-canvas, ca. 1880-90, depicting a park scene with horse and carriages, by Albert Peck Wenzell (1864-1917). Two sets of Lundberg Studios art glass Aurene lamp shades, a Moser vase with enameled flowers, and a large English anvil (William Foster) are in the unique sale.
High relief bronze plaques of Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln and various etchings by an array of famous European artists are included, as are bronzes by Auguste Moreau, Dimitri Chiparus, Carl Kauba, Victor Salmones, and Edna Kaufman.
In the clock category are an Ansonia gilt crystal regulator with rhinestone pendulum, several adorned Dutch wall clocks, a Hamilton bracket clock, a glass spherical clock and a Connecticut tall-case clock with 30-hour movement.
Other items will be antique barometers, four vintage Bakelite hair combs, fine musical instruments, miniature portraits, a Pairpoint lamp base, an Egyptian Revival gilt tazza, music boxes, a faience owl vase, Loetz green glass standing lamp, Blackamore candlesticks, Tiffany & Co. vanity set and Tiffany Studios pen tray.
Tin litho toys such as a J. Chein & Co. Hercules ferris wheel, assorted autos, and pressed steel vehicles will be offered in the toy category. There are antique Asian carvings, porcelains, bronze censers, a collection of Heriz, Sarouk, and Karastan rugs, and antique quilts and coverlets.
