Fairfax County, Va., Police Seek Information On Jewelry Theft

The Fairfax County, Va., police are seeking information concerning a theft that occured in the middle of the night on Sunday, Jan. 11, in the parking lot of the Marriott Residence Inn located in Chantilly, Va.
Maxine Wolff Shapiro Antiques and Estate Jewelry and Cannon's Estate Consignments Inc. of Richmond, Va., had packed their trailer following the D.C. Big Flea Antique Market at the Dulles Expo Center and were staying overnight at the hotel. The Wells Cargo trailer was locked and attached to their van. On Monday morning, the trailer was gone.
Among the contents were a collection consisting of approximately 600 to 800 pieces of jewelry, nine Arizona lighted tabletop showcases, a handicapped Go-Go scooter, jewelry displays, a security camera system, various electricial supplies, portable display walls, a laptop computer and a suitcase with personal clothing and jewelry.
