Marvin Getman of Impact Events Group announced his lineup of book and paper fairs for 2016.
Eight years ago, after 36 years of producing consumer shows, Getman promoted his first Book Fair in Boston, Mass. Dealers were impressed with his attention to detail and knack for advertising and promotion.
Over the past three years he has steadily been adding fairs. Getman now produces fairs in Concord, N.H., both Brooklyn and Manhattan, N.Y., and also Boston and Lexington, Mass. The promotor was also recently named as the manager for the prestigious Ephemera Society of America Fair in Old Greenwich, Conn.
Below is a schedule for upcoming events throughout 2016.
*The Ephemera Society of America Ephemera Fair will be held in Old Greenwich, Conn., on Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20.
*The New York City Book and Ephemera Fair will be held in New York City on Saturday, April 9.
*The Boston Book and Ephemera Fair in Lexington, Mass., will be held on Sunday, April 17.
*The Granite State Antiques and Book Fair will be held in Concord, N.H., on Sunday, June 5.
*The Brooklyn Antiquarian Book Fair will be held in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Sept. 9, 10, and 11.
*The Boston Book, Print and Ephemera Show will be held in Boston, Mass., on Saturday, Oct. 29.
