Think Big: The New York Art, Antique And Jewelry Show Has New Venue And Dates

April 28, 2016

The New York Art, Antique and Jewelry Show, one of the city's oldest and longest running events devoted to fine art, antiques and jewelry, has announced its new location at Pier 94. Produced by the Palm Beach Show Group, experienced show producers with an expertise in bringing together the best group of exhibitors from around the world, the event will build upon the show's 30-plus years of success in this new, exciting venue. The show will become the leading international art and antiques event of the New York fall season.
The New York Art, Antique and Jewelry Show will premier Wednesday, Nov. 9 and run through Sunday, Nov. 13. It will provide an extraordinary showcase in New York for leading art and antiques dealers from around the world. With over 100,000 square feet of exhibition space, more than 120 dealer booths will flow throughout Pier 94's expansive and iconic building, creating a show of spectacular breadth, depth and scope, allowing exhibitors and collectors to meet under one roof in a first-class venue in New York - all in one place, all at one time.
"We are thinking bigger, and Pier 94 allows us to plan, design and deliver just that: a much bigger, world-class event in Manhattan," said Scott Diament, President/CEO of the Palm Beach Show Group. "Building prosperous events, at optimal times in ideal venues for dealers to succeed are the factors that build the foundation of the Palm Beach Show Group. We know, without a doubt, that this show embodies these factors and Pier 94 is the ultimate location for this event."
With both an intimate and iconic setting, Pier 94 is situated against the scenic backdrop of the Hudson River. Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, on the Westside Highway, the ease of access to Pier 94 is an added benefit to the show's new venue choice. Luxury shuttles will run to and from Pier 94 to the Upper East Side and other pre-determined locations, providing ideal transportation options to guests to attend the show.
Perhaps the busiest commercial hub in the U.S., Midtown Manhattan offers an exhibition option for high-end exhibitors to reach affluent and knowledgeable collectors. Intended to attract a global audience, the venue offers wide open spaces, high ceilings, column free corridors, which allows for a refined, focused, and exquisitely displayed show experience. The Palm Beach Show Group will set the stage at Pier 94 to create both conversation and commerce between the world's leading exhibitors, collectors, museum curators, art advisors and interior designers.
"We are happy to continue our momentum in the New York market," said Barbara Goodwin, New York Art, Antique and Jewelry Show director. "This Show is of vital importance to our exhibitors as well as our organization as we continue Manhattan's rich legacy of providing an elegant showcase for a wide range of collector's interests. As the city's residential landscape evolves, Pier 94 helps us to do the same with an expanded show and new audience possibilities."
The New York Art, Antique and Jewelry Show is slated to be a special event, unique to that of any other presented at Pier 94 due explicitly to the superior selection of high end dealers that will showcase their fine art, antiques and jewelry at the location. Not only is the show being presented at an optimal time of year, but it will also be highlighted by a huge marketing, advertising and public relations campaign which will draw more collectors and buyers than ever before to the venue. With a charity benefit on the opening night preview evening, and a prominent pop-up restaurant onsite, the show will be enriched by exhibitions, interior design programming and an educational lecture series.
"The New York Art, Antique and Jewelry Show embodies the highest level of quality and distinction, which are values we share with the dealers and collectors who participate in our shows. Our show has established itself as the the leading event for fine art, antique and jewelry exhibitors and is further distinguished by the luxurious high-end experience offered to the attendees - we intend to extend these expectations to the show's new home at Pier 94," stated Diament.
