The 75th Annual Back Mountain Memorial Library Auction will take place Thursday to Sunday, Aug. 12 to 15. Rain date is Monday, Aug. 16. The venue is located at 96 Huntsville Road, Dallas, Pa. Grounds open at 5 p.m. The live auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. An array of activities are scheduled during this multi-day event, such as a variety of local artisan vendors, an odds and ends tent, childrens games, food booths, a plant sale, and the vintage gazebo. Bid-time stories for kids will take place on the first three evenings of the event from 6 to 8 p.m. outside under a tent and will consisit of a puppet show, animal guests, and storytelling. Due to limited parking at the library, people are encouraged to take the shuttle bus from the Country Club Shopping Center on Route 309 at Thomas Market in Dallas.
