Christmas Shopping At The Emporium
Co-Op To Accept Gifts For Toys For Tots Program
December 11, 2020
Just like everything else in 2020, Christmas will be different this year. The Historic Burlington Antiques and Art Emporium in Burlington City, N.J., believes Christmas is a time of sharing, of giving, and a time with family, although the latter may be modified this year. The dealers started decorating for Christmas early, just after Halloween at the Emporium, attempting to put a smile on shoppers faces. The courtyard entryway is already lit up. Each day, the dealers try to add more lights to display. This holiday season, the Emporium sales display case will contain items for train platforms, tree ornaments, and holiday decorations for the dining table. The special sales display case is located next to the front door, and each month the theme changes. Following Christmas, the case will hold antique and vintage photography items such as cameras, photographs, frames, and all items related to the art of photography. For the last several years, the Emporium has collected toys for the Toys for Tots program. Last year, two large boxes were filled for the worthy Marine Corps annual program. The mulit-dealer shop wishes to exceed that goal this year with even more toy donations. The box is located by the front door of the Emporium. For those who dislike fighting for a parking spot or the crowds at the local mall, the Emporium is the place to shop. There is ample parking on the street and a large lot next door. Located at 424 High St., Burlington City, N.J., the Emporium is closed on Mondays, open Tuesdays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. Complimentary snacks are always available to shoppers. From all the Emporium dealers, have a Merry Christmas season, and please stay safe.
