Christmas Shopping At The Emporium
December 10, 2021
For many, the holiday season is a time of sharing, of giving, and a time with family. The dealers started decorating for Christmas right after Halloween at the Historic Burlington Antiques and Art Emporium, attempting to put a smile on the faces of shoppers, each day adding more and more lights to the courtyard display until the space was completely decorated for Christmas. This holiday season, the Emporium sales display case contains items for building train platforms, decorating the tree and enhancing the holiday dining room table. The special sales display case is located next to the front door and changes each month with a different theme. For the last several years, the Emporium has collected toys for the Marine program, Toys for Tots. In 2020, two boxes were filled and given to the regional Marine Corps office to distribute. Those who are able are encouraged to help the shop surpass last years amount and aid them in filling three boxes for the children in the Burlington County area. The Toys for Tots box is located by the front door of the Emporium. For those who dislike searching for a parking spot or fighting the crowds at the local retail center, the Emporium is the place to shop for unique Christmas gifts. They have ample parking on the street and a large lot next to the building, located at 424 High St. Burlington City, N.J. The multi-dealer shop is closed on Monday and open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours on Thursday and Friday until 7 p.m. Complimentary snacks are always available to energize shopping. From all of the Emporium dealers, have a merry Christmas season and happy new year.
