Gehman Auctions, based in Ephrata, Pa., recently sold a large comic book collection consisting of over 800 lots from Platinum Age to Modern Age books. The online sale closed Jan. 31. Gehman uses HiBid as a bidding platform. Highlights of this auction included a collection of 17 Golden Age publisher bound comic books selling for $8,100. A collection of 14 Bronze Age original comic book art pieces went for $3,300. A copy of Iron Fist with first appearance of Sabre-Tooth realized $350.
