Delaware Train Show, Octoberfest Toy Show Set For Oct. 1 And 2

On Saturday, Oct., 1, ToyShows.org will be back with the Delaware Train Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nur Shrine Center, Route 13/198 South DuPont Highway in New Castle, Del. Admission will be $5, children under the age of 12 will be admitted free of charge. There will be a $10 early buyers admission at 8 a.m. The show will feature over 150 tables of trains, accessories, slot cars and some toys. The Delaware Train Show will have a diverse offering of trains in all scales and makes. A variety of dealers with unique merchandise are coming from up and down the East Coast. This show is Saturday only and will have a train layout on display by The Strasburg Model RR Club of New Jersey. On Sunday, Oct. 2 the Octoberfest Toy Show, Delawares largest toy show, moves in. There will be 175 tables of new, collectible and antique toys. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the same venue. Admission will be $5, and children under the age of 12 are admitted free of charge. The early buyers admission starts at 9 a.m. and is $15. Jays Fil-Am Mobile Cuisine will be on-site, and parking is free of charge. These are rain-or-shine indoor events. The Nur Shrine Center is convenient to I-95, I-295 and U.S. Route 40, three miles from the Delaware Memorial Bridge and 20 minutes from Philadelphia.
