Elverson Antiques Show Slated For Oct. 28 And 29
Popular Two-Day Show Takes Place At Twin Valley High School
October 06, 2023
The Elverson Antiques Show will return this fall on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 28 and 29, at the Twin Valley High School. The school sits high on a hill, located at 4897 N. Twin Valley Road, Elverson, Pa. Proceeds from the antiques show benefit the Lacrosse Club, and members of the club serve as porters and help with the set-up of the show. Within easy driving distance of Philadelphia, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York, Elverson is just off Exit 298 (Morgantown) of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Geographically, it is located in Berks County, with Chester County only a few miles away. The show reflects the rich heritage of the early Pennsylvania settlers of southeastern Pennsylvania; however, over 40 dealers from the Mid-Atlantic, New England, and the Mid-West bring a balance of antiques from across the country to the show, with an emphasis on quality country antiques. Showgoers can expect to find stoneware, redware, baskets, butter prints, woodenware, early lighting, iron, quilts, coverlets, samplers, furniture, toys, holiday decorations, and china in a range of prices for beginning to advanced collectors. Show hours on Saturday, Oct. 28, are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. Admission is $9, or $8 with this article, an advertisement, or show card.
