Emporium Celebrates Birthday In August
Multi-Dealer Shop Turns 20
August 06, 2021
The Historic Burlington Antiques and Art Emporium will celebrate 20 years in business with two raffle baskets filled with donated items from its dealers. Customers making a purchase will receive one free ticket per invoice, thus, the more times someone buys during the month of August, the more chances he or she has of winning. Shop goers will have to visit the Emporium to see what treasures are in the baskets. The Emporium sales display case has been changed for the month August. The front case will highlight shop dealers best and most unusual items from their booth or case. This month, dealers on River Road, Union, and the new Annex will be featured in the show case. Some of the dealers specialize in coins, toys, glassware, jewelry, military, baseball cards, train accessories, cameras, tools, and other areas. The Emporium is a unique antiques and art co-op. Treasures priced to sell are always discovered in the old 40-foot-high arch and trestle building, which serves as the multi-dealer shop. Each week, the Emporium courtyard changes. Items get sold, and dealers bring in more finds. Presently, the courtyard has plants, garden furniture, unusual items, and cement planters and statues. There are many nice items to enhance a patio or garden. The Emporium is located at 424 High St. in Burlington City, N.J., and open Tuesday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours on Thursday and Friday until 7 p.m. The shop is closed on Monday.
