Fishersville Antiques Expo Is Back In Business
Spring Edition Gets Rave Reviews, Fall Show Set
August 20, 2021
Following a one-year hiatus, the 66th edition of the Fishersville Antiques Expo took place May 7 and 8. Ray and Martha Stokes and daughter Lesley, co-owners of Heritage Promotions, spearheaded the effort to run the antiques extravaganza held at the Augusta Expo in Fishersville, Va. The business is always changing, and that especially goes for shows. A number of dealers retired during the pandemic, but the Stokeses made the show happen and received a large number of positive comments from the hundreds of dealers and thousands of customers who attended. Fishersville is a household name in the Mid-Atlantic antiquing community, synonymous with quality shows. The Fishersville Antiques Expo has been a semiannual event since the early 1990s. The show has a long-standing reputation of high-quality vendors with eclectic and diverse inventories and great prices on their wares. One longtime customer said, Once you come to one of the shows, you are hooked and you cant wait for the next one! The 67th Fishersville Antiques Expo is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 8 and 9. Come to enjoy all that the large show has to offer and the fun of a day trip to the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Whether looking for 18th- and 19th-century Americana or Continental material, mid-century modern, jewelry, silver, art or just about any type of collectible, there truly is a treasure just waiting to be found. The fall show hours will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Admission is $10 on Friday and $5 on Saturday. The Augusta Expoland is located at 277 Expo Road, Fishersville, Va.
