Shane Gehman of Gehman Auctions based in Ephrata, Pa., held an online-only vintage comic book sale that ended July 20. HiBid is the bidding platform used, and there is a 13-percent buyers premium, reduced to 10 percent for check or cash. There were over 100,000 views and 200 registered bidders, according to Gehman. Ghost Rider no. 1, first appearance of the son of satan, went for $1,582; and The Invincible Iron Man no. 1, big premiere issue, was $1,130.
