Gehman Auctions Sells Comics Collection

Online-Only Sale Ended July 20, Additional Sessions Planned

Shane Gehman of Gehman Auctions based in Ephrata, Pa., held an online-only vintage comic book sale that ended July 20. HiBid is the bidding platform used, and there is a 13-percent buyers premium, reduced to 10 percent for check or cash. There were over 100,000 views and 200 registered bidders, according to Gehman. Many of the books were vintage silver age comics. Some key issues and first appearances sold, and some were graded. Additional sessions are scheduled. Visit www.gehmanauctions.com to learn more. The Tomb of Dracula no. 10, first appearance of Blade, sold for $1,356. Prices reported include buyers premium. Wonder Woman no. 98, first silver age appearance, sold for $1,243. Ghost Rider no. 1, first appearance of the son of satan, went for $1,582; and The Invincible Iron Man no. 1, big premiere issue, was $1,130. Werewolf by Night no. 32, first appearance of Moon Knight, realized $2,373, and X-men no. 94, graded CGC 7.0, sold for $847.50. For additional information, call Shane Gehman at 717-669-9668.
