The leaves are turning, and the days are getting cooler. Its time for all serious collectors of vintage holiday decorations to bring out their best ghouls and goblins for Halloween displays. Besides Christmas, Halloween is probably the most popular holiday/occasion for decorators. For those in need of some new additions, the Haddon Heights Antiques Center is a great place to shop. The current special sales display running throughout the month of October will be chock full of old-fashioned Halloween decorating ideas with a true vintage twist. Both antique material and newer items are available. Shoppers will find cute 1950s plastic toys, handpainted ceramic light-ups from the 1960s and 70s, and cardboard cutouts, jack olanterns, and vintage masks from various eras. There are scary witches and monsters, ghosts and skeletons galore. Customers can even find creepy and bizarre handcrafted dolls guaranteed to send shivers down anyones spine. The Haddon Heights Antiques Center has been delighting both serious and casual collectors for more than a quarter century. Its two floors are filled with a wide variety of antiques and collectibles. The multi-dealer shop is conveniently located just off I-295 at 531 Clements Bridge Road in Barrington, N.J.
