On June 15, the Historic Burlington Antiques and Art Emporium reopened. The Burlington, N.J., co-op has hours of 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday and is open till 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. Mask wearing and social distancing are required. Complimentary individually wrapped snacks are always available. The Emporium sales showcase will have Halloween collectibles until the middle of November and then change over to Christmas collectibles until the end of January. The day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday) is synonymous as a retail holiday geared toward consumers and the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season. On Black Friday, the Emporium will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Also, to thank customers, the Emporium will give a free poinsettia to the first 50 transactions (one plant per customer).
