Holiday Open House Set For Rivertowne Antique Center On Dec. 3, 4, And 5
Multi-Dealer Shop Is In Columbia, Pa.
December 03, 2021
The Rivertowne Antique Center in Historic Columbia, Pa., will hold its annual Holiday Open House the first weekend in December on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Dec. 3, 4, and 5. Store hours will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on all three days. Dealers will be offering special discounts just in time for the gift-giving season. During our three-day Holiday Sale, customers will find anywhere from 10 to 40 percent off items throughout the store, said Ron Madar, co-owner with partner Georgia Townsend. Whether large or small, antiques and collectibles provide holiday shoppers with a creative alternative to perhaps a more traditional gift idea, continued Madar. Browse through two floors of quality 19th- and early 20th-century antiques including furniture, primitives, folk art, stoneware, textiles, jewelry, general store items, advertising, industrial and decorative smalls. All are displayed in a beautifully restored tobacco warehouse along the Susquehanna River. Enjoy refreshments such as hot cider while looking for that perfect gift for family and friends. Take a break from the hectic atmosphere and long lines at the department stores, said Townsend. Relax and shop in our comfortable, well-lit environment while you enjoy exploring two floors stocked with wonderful gift ideas. Rivertowne is located at 125 Bank Ave. From the Columbia/Marietta exit off Route 30, take the new Front Street/River Road downtown bypass or follow Third Street into town, turn right on Locust, go a block and a half, and turn left on Bank Avenue. There is plenty of free parking and Visa/MC are accepted. Gift certificates, layaway and shipping are also available.
