Jerry And Carrie Goins Will Now Run Popular Midwest Event

Herb Staub of Iowa City, Iowa, is pleased to announce that the annual Iowa City Postcard, Stamp and Paper Show in Iowa has changed hands. The new promoters are Jerry and Carrie Goins of Joplin, Mo. The two will be taking the reins for the 17th year of the Iowa show in 2023. Jerry Goins has a great love of the hobby and has among the largest stock of postcards in the country. He and his wife, Carrie, have recently turned their attention to the postcard and paper business on a full-time basis, having recently sold their construction business. The Goins are a dynamic couple who aim to be a positive influence on the industry, launching Uncle Jerrys Postcards and Ephemera. They are excited to promote the next Iowa City Show. Iowas premier Postcard, Stamp and Paper Show will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 7 and 8, 2023, at the same location, the Johnson Co. 4H Fairgrounds, located at 4265 Oak Crest Hill Road SE, Iowa City, Iowa. As in the past, Building C has easy in and out access for the dealers, is well lighted and has modern restrooms. Being on one level, it is accessible, and plenty of free parking is nearby. The show has free admission for the public. Hours on day one will be from noon to 6 p.m, and the show runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on day two. Dealer space is going fast.
