Lehigh Valley Knife Show In Easton, Pa., Set For Sept. 23 And 24
“Forged In Fire” Contestants To Exhibit And Sell

The Lehigh Valley Knife Show is coming to Easton, Pa., on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 23 and 24. Come and buy, sell, and display knives. Show goers will find everything there from antique, rusty, factory, custom, fancy, and kitchen to hunting, military, swords, daggers, folders, Bowies, razors, sharpeners, and books on knifemaking. Over 1,000 knife fans are expected to attend, making it one of the largest knife-only shows in the country. The show will take place at the Charles Chrin Community Center of Palmer Township, 4100 Green Pond Road, Easton, Pa., visible along US-22 between PA-248 and PA-33. There will be 300-plus tables available for vendors. A sample of vendors already registered includes famous custom makers and high quality factories like Great Eastern Cutlery and Canal Street Cutlery. Several contestants from the show Forged in Fire will be set up as well. This show has helped popularize the art of knifemaking. Materials for knife or sheath making will be available. Show goers may also bring dull knives to have them sharpened, and there will be forging demonstrations by Robert Stumphy. Show hours will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Six-foot table rentals for vendors are $50 for both days. That price includes two admission tickets and chairs. Vendors may set up Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday morning from 7 to 9 a.m. There is ample free parking. Also, there are many hotels and restaurants nearby.
