Soon thereafter, a pair of Kangxi porcelain vases achieved $3,400. I think the market for Americana is regaining ground, said owner Michael Locati. We are seeing interest from unexpected places; buyers both locally and across the United States are targeting the best examples. In many ways, I think the iconic LOVE image has itself become a piece of modern Americana, which is something interesting to think about.
