Nations Capital Political Memorabilia Show On The Docket For March 18
American Political Items Collectors (APIC) To Hold 23rd Annual Show In Rockville, Md.
March 10, 2023
Politics is the main industry in Washington, D.C., and on Saturday, March 18, all eras of pinback buttons, posters, ribbons, plates, historic paper and other memorabilia will be offered for sale at the only political memorabilia show in the nations capital. Dealers will set up displays and offer a wide range of ephemera, including sports, advertising, civil rights, military and other related collectibles. The 23rd annual show, sponsored by the National Capital Chapter of the American Political Items Collectors, draws dozens of dealers and hundreds of collectors, including elected officials and staff members who work on Capitol Hill. The nonprofit APIC is a membership-based group of collectors dedicated to preserving political history, and its regional chapters hold similar shows across the country. This D.C. region event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rockville Hilton Hotel at 1750 Rockville Pike (Route 355) in Rockville, Md. The hotel is across the street from the Twinbrook stop on Metros Red Line. Admission will be $5, or $1 off with ad. Both children and students will be admitted free of charge. Expect to see plenty of historical and contemporary memorabilia for sale at this educational event. For further information, contact Tony Lee at tonylee08560@gmail.com or 609-310-0817.
