New Show Coming To Frederick, Md.
Early Settler’s Antiques Show Is Set For June 5
May 14, 2021
The Early Settlers Antique Show will be held on Saturday, June 5 at the Great Frederick Fairgrounds in Frederick, Md. Promoters Jill Peterson and Christina Hummel have received a great deal of interest from buyers of country and primitive goods for a new show in the Mid-Atlantic. The Frederick Fairgrounds was chosen due to its easy and convenient location just off I-70 and the easy access to hotels, restaurants, and other area attractions. The one-day show will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will consist of two temperature-controlled buildings filled with dealers from across 19 states. The dealers are chosen for their quality merchandise and their friendly and outgoing personalities that contribute to a great atmosphere. These dealers love sharing and talking about antiques. There will be a variety of price ranges, making it a fun show to shop. Admission will be $7. Food trucks will be set up outside, including an ice cream truck. In case of rain, there will be a tent with a seating area to gather with friends and take a break from shopping. Starting in 1822 as a cattle show and fair venue, the fairgrounds has a rich history. It is a lovely setting for an antiques show, and the town of Frederick is filled with nice shops and restaurants, many with old-time charm. The fairgrounds are located off I-70 at 797 E. Patrick St., Frederick, Md. There is plenty of free parking. This will be a dont-miss show. Come and fill the wagon!
