A new antiques show will take place Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Kimberton Fairgrounds in Phoenixville, Pa. The Winters Garden Antique Show will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The shows promoter, Cecilia Taylor, wanted to use this venue with a winter time show. People are anticipating Spring and have a bit of cabin fever. Although not a garden material specific show, I know Im thinking of my garden when its asleep in the winter and dreaming of Spring, remarked Taylor. The promoter has gathered a diverse group of dealers to showcase their wares and share in some camaraderie. I love the dealers who work hard and hustle. I want both exhibiting dealers and customers to be happy and have a good time. There are still great shows out there. This one will fall the week before the major Nashville (Tennessee) shows that are a staple. I hope my show can piggyback off of that energy.This being a brand new show is scary but also exciting. You have to take risks sometimes and push outside your comfort zone. Im trying to do that and provide a new experience for everyone involved, continued Taylor.
