By Winston Lennon - November 03, 2023
The Bucks County Antiques Dealers Association (BCADA) proudly presents the 76th Annual Antiques Show on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 11 and 12. This is the second year at a new venue, the St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church rental hall, located at 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, Pa. In existence since 1966, the BCADA exhibitors are from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Virginia. This show has been rated the best show in the Delaware Valley by local magazines. Longtime dealers include C & C Antiques, who carry ceramics, linens, and rare tools; ELtiques, who sell fine ephemera and artwork; KT Antiques will return with country and primitive items; and Ivy Iris Antiques brings eclectic primitives and whimsies. Dealer and author Bill DAnjolell of Imagine Antiques will offer art, ephemera, historical collectibles, metalware, and ceramics. From Pt. Pleasant, Pa., BCADA matriarch Julia Bartels of River Run Antiques brings Staffordshire china and classic Victorian holiday items. Chestnut Hill native Ruth Peckmann of Antiques in Bloom sells decorative primitives and equestrian antiques; Mill Road Antiques specializes in metalware, English ceramics and art; and Ted Freed will bring vintage books and ephemera. Long Spring Antiques will sell Native American primitives; Serapi Antiques will sell textiles, silver, and estate jewelry; Pentimento will carry early ephemera and advertising; and Bob Lucas will offer historical documents, Civil War items, and early photography. New members Jennifer Lee Dcor will bring fine art, Oriental export and decorative home dcor, and Bill Baran of Ivy & Twig will bring primitives and country furniture. And from Virginia, Jims Antiques will be exhibiting and selling glass along with Civil War items. This show has quality, diversity, and affordability. For hours and additional information, call 215-290-3140 or email www.BCADAPA.org. One of many things about decorating and living with antiques is the character, uniqueness, and style they add to a home. And, of course, they last longer than most new manufactured goods.
