Twenty-five years ago, Olde Factory Antiques and Crafts opened in Hummelstown, Pa. From Wednesday to Sunday, Oct. 6 to 10, the multi-dealer shop will celebrate the anniversary with special deals and will be giving away six $25 gift certificates. The three-story building began life as the Hummelstown Shoe Co. in 1895. In 1919, it became a silk mill, and from 1930 to 1970 it sold uniforms and dresses. In 1996, it was transformed into the Olde Factory, and a number of original vendors are still in the multi-dealer shop. The building is wheelchair assessible and has an elevator. There is a little bit of everything, from antique and vintage to contemporary. Shoppers will find old books, jewelery, pottery, glass, furniture, and much more. The shop is located at 139 S.
