Pewter Collectors Club Of America (PCCA) To Meet Annual Spring Meeting To Take Place April 24 To 26

The Pewter Collectors Club of America (PCCA) will hold its annual National Meeting from Friday to Sunday, April 24 to April 26, at the DoubleTree in Dayton/Fairborn, Ohio. On Friday, there will be a presentation titled Introduction to Pewter starting at 3:30 p.m. and open to the public. In the evening, Al Sheer, the clubs vice president, will give a presentation titled The Sellew Family, an Introduction to an Entrepreneurial Family. The program will also include talks about pewter by several members and a visit to the house of a member to view a large private collection of Ohio pewter. Saturday evenings program will include a presentation by Amelia Jeffers, owner and operator of the auction firm Amelia Jeffers Auctioneers & Appraisers, titled Dispersing Ones Collection via Public Auction. Attendance is limited to members of the club. The PCCA is a nonprofit organization established to encourage, develop, and foster the study, discussion, and collecting of pewter.
