Return Of Scott Antique Markets Columbus Shows Deemed A Huge Success
Next Show Set For Dec. 18 And 19
December 17, 2021
Oh my, its so good to see you! I was wondering if you would be here, proclaimed one show goer. Over and over, phrases like this were repeated throughout the Bricker and Celeste Buildings. Old friends caught up with each other, and customers reunited with their favorite vendors on Nov. 27 and 28 during the grand reopening of the Scott Antique Markets, Columbus, Ohio, shows. Hundreds of vendors converged on the Ohio Expo Center to fill the two large buildings with unique items to sell. Rows upon rows of beautiful glassware, rare books, records, jewelry, furniture, and so much more were available to the customers that flooded the market over the weekend. Sign collectors of all sorts found many items to take home. One booth had metal signs saying things like Hot Cocoa or Fresh Eggs 20 cents a dozen. Another had a large sign with the name Wampler Foods emblazoned across the front with red and green backgrounds. Parents and their children looked through booths with vintage tin toys, puzzles, childrens books and Matchbox cars, the kids eyes lighting up with delight over a Barbie doll in one booth and a Santa puzzle in another. Mid-Century chairs, sofas, end tables, wooden China cabinets and more were carted away on hand trucks ready for new homes. Customers also combed through stacks of antique and vintage rugs trying to find the perfect fit for their homes. Holiday dcor left the show in droves. Shoppers left carrying ceramic Christmas trees worth $100 or more; blow molds of Santa, Frosty or the Grinch; holiday themed Mickey and Minnie Mouse figurines and dozens of antique and vintage Christmas ornaments. The holiday season is looking much brighter this year. The Scott Antique Markets in Columbus, Ohio has proven its ready to come back to help shoppers with everything on their wish lists. The next market is set for Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 18 and 19, in the Bricker Building at the Ohio Expo Center. For additional information, visit www.scottantiquemarkets.com.
