Richland Antiques To Celebrate Anniversary
Quakertown Shop Opened Two Years Ago
July 08, 2022
Richland Antiques is an antique shop with a certain cache that is celebrating its second-year anniversary, an achievement, considering it was opened during challenging times. The shop owes its success to a myriad of vendors that cater to tastes for primitives, European, Victorian, Mid-Century Modern, among other styles, and intersperses eclectic collectibles sure to be antiques in the future. On a well-traveled highway on Route 309 in Quakertown, Pa., sits Richland, with a red pickup truck displaying its logo to the vintage horse drawn carriage also out front. Customers have now grown to include both young and old. Vinyl has made a huge comeback and is a popular category in the shop, notably with the under 40 crowd. A regular young customer who has been visiting since opening can be found in Cottages and Bungalows magazine and on Instagram displaying his finds @ourhomeonhighstreet. In the past year, the opening of Collectors Bazaar, also on Route 309, as well as the shops in Quakertown proper, Old Soul Antiques, 2nd Life Antiques, Quaker Antique Mall, and Dungeon Antiques, are helping to make Quakertown a destination for finding that perfect gift, piece of inventory, or addition to a collection. Zionsville is close, which has other shops worth checking out. Both spots make for a perfect day of antiquing. Richland will be celebrating its two years in business with storewide sales on Friday to Monday, July 8 to 11. For those in the area or looking for a destination shop, be sure to stop in. It is located at 1320 N. West End Blvd., Quakertown, Pa. To learn more, call 267-373-9451.
